Introduction

The Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology of the Technical University in Zvolen has been carrying out research in the area of wood structure and properties for more than 50 years. The symposium "Wood Structure and Properties" has been organized since 1990 every fourth year.

This fifth jubilee symposium will be organized as the joint event of the IUFRO Unit 5.01.00 "Wood quality" and the Faculty of Wood Sciences of the Technical University in Zvolen.
